TikTok celebrity Odesanmi Opeyemi, also known as Oloba Salo, was hospitalized after being shot by an unidentified gunman in Lekki, Lagos.

The content creator was reportedly shot in the leg late Thursday and was promptly transported to the hospital for treatment. It was also alleged that his gold chain was taken during the raid.

Salo, known for his outspokenness, was ambushed by unknown gunmen while driving his white luxury car through Lekki, Lagos State.

An eyewitness, whose voice was heard in a recorded WhatsApp exchange, stated that the killers were riding a motorcycle when they shot the comic before speeding away. It was also stated that the gold necklace was stolen by spectators who had initially flocked around Salo, purportedly to help him. One of Salo’s friends took a video of him on a hospital bed, surrounded by medics.
